Learn the characteristics and needs of school-age children, the elements of high-quality after school programs and how to establish a pleasant, fun atmosphere that meets children’s needs. This course includes strategies for dealing with cliques, bullying, disagreements and fights; ideas for implementing an anti-bias curriculum; and age-appropriate games and activities.
