Description

Learn the function and importance of play in the lives of young children in this more advanced course. Course covers what motivates children to play, the different kinds of play, how children's play progresses as children develop, how play affects the various areas off children's development, the physical and environmental components of a good play environment, how to select toys and play materials, and how to interact with children to facilitate their learning through play. We recommend that you have some background in child development before taking this course.
