Establishes Developmentally Appropriate Practice for Behavior & Guidance. Provides an understanding of direct and indirect guidance in a child care environment. Introduces the seventeen major positive discipline strategies that empower the teacher to manage their classroom environment. These strategies are best for the individual child as well as the overall group. An understanding of Oklahoma state licensing regulations for behavior and guidance will be content of this course.
