Description

This course defines discipline as it relates to the ECE setting and explains causes for the inappropriate behavior of children. Upon successful completion of this course, participants should be able to explain the many reasons children make inappropriate choices, why teachers react to inappropriate behavior in different ways and define appropriate and successful discipline techniques.
