Description

This course provides a brief overview of the physical, social, and educational development of four and five year old children. Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to recognize the signs indicating that children are entering a new stage or phase of development, react appropriately to each phase of development, prepare activities to encourage development and identify those children who are consistently not meeting developmental standards or consistently exceeding developmental standards.
