Description

Without some adults, some children might never receive help. Be an advocate for children by knowing the signs of abuse and reporting incidents. Remember, you are reporting suspicion of child abuse. Even if you aren’t sure, it’s better to let authorities check it out.

Goals and Objectives

The objectives of this training are to help early childhood professionals: 1) identify the common types of child abuse; 2) recognize both physical and emotion signs that abuse could be occurring; 3) learn how to respond when a child seeks to disclose what is going on; 4) recognize how to report suspected abuse; 5) gain ideas for preventing child abuse.
