Description

If children who bully succeed in achieving their goals, the bullying behavior is likely to continue. It is up to early childhood professionals to supervise and intervene, teaching children how to address their wants and needs in positive ways.

The objectives of this training are to: 1) explain the characteristics of children at risk of being bullied, as well as the youngsters who at risk of being a bully; 2) explain how bullying can occur; 3) illustrate how even adults can “bully” children without meaning to; and 4) present suggestions for promoting a bully-free environment.
