Description

This training discusses how, when teaching and assessing math skills, it helps a great deal to focus on ordinary, everyday experiences that young children can relate to. Math – like literacy and other core subject areas – should be embedded in experiences that are both relevant and meaningful for children. Numerous examples are listed.
